Sunday ADVENTURES

The ever growing Sunday Adventures, formally known as Sunday School, program here at LUMC is one of the greatest! Classes meet from early September through May. The 8:45 AM start time gives us enough time to not only hear about the bible but also learn about it through different learning stations that are set up. The young children have a rotation model where they learn a bible story in different ways throughout the month. They have different learning stations and different learning experiences every month. Each month also focuses on one specific mission project as well.

School is out, but that doesn't mean the fun has to stop here at La Crescent UMC! VBS meets during the summer Monday to Friday at 9:00 AM and lasts until 12:00 PM for one week. VBS is a wonderful opportunity for kids from 3 years old to 5th grade! A theme and curriculum is chosen and the Fellowship Hall is decorated in an interesting way to portray that theme. The youth are asked to help as well as adults. Everyone is welcome to join in on the festivities, member or not! Once summer is closer look for information in the newsletter and bulletins!

Midweek Middle school youth group

Meets every Wednesday, from 5-6:30 PM. All youth in Grades 5 through 8 grades are welcome to join for a time of fun, including games, Bible Study, prayer and ending with dinner. 

The bridge youth Center

The Bridge is a youth center open to all middle and high school students in the La Crescent Community. It exists to connect students with the resources they need to succeed!  Opened September-May with pop up activities during the summer months.  Watch the church calendar, bulletins and newsletter for hours and events.
