I am originally from Wisconsin, where my dad still serves as an elder in the Wisconsin conference. I am one of 5 boys. I have been married to my wife, Teal, for just over 10 years and we have two children: Noah who will be going into 6th grade and Charlotte who will be starting 2nd grade.
I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a major in history and a minor in psychology. I received my Master of Divinity from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary in 2019. I finished the practical Church leadership classes and so have a master's certificate from Dakota Wesleyan University.
My call to ministry is best described as a journey of learning and growing. I felt the call to ministry as God calling me to come and see and then to teach the gospel to others. I have always felt called to help people grow in the knowledge of God and thus into discipleship.
My passion for ministry has always been connected to making disciples. I believe that the world needs a Church that helps people grow in Love with God through discipleship, so they can then go into ministry to the world and love their neighbor. My passion is helping people see the vision of what the Church can be and how they can be a part of God's redemptive mission in the world.
