The purpose of the prayer shawl is to give someone a tangible example of God’s love and care. We make each shawl with prayer. You can receive one for any of the following reasons: serious medical procedure, life-threatening medical problem, grieving, baptism and more. To request a shawl for someone, let one of the group members or the church office know of the need and the address of the person. Shawls can be presented during the church service if the recipient agrees. We appreciate any donations of time, yarn, or cash donations. Everyone is welcome to partake in this ministry.
