Sunday ADVENTURES

The ever growing Sunday Adventures, formally known as Sunday School, program here at LUMC is one of the greatest! Classes meet from early September through May. The 8:45 AM start time gives us enough time to not only hear about the bible but also learn about it through different learning stations that are set up. The young children have a rotation model where they learn a bible story in different ways throughout the month. They have different learning stations and different learning experiences every month. Each month also focuses on one specific mission project as well.

Midweek Middle school youth group

Meets every Wednesday, from 5:00 - 6:30 PM. All youth in Grades 5 through 8 grades are welcome to join for a time of fun, including games, Bible Study, prayer and ending with dinner. 

vacation bible school

School is out, but that doesn't mean the fun has to stop here at La Crescent UMC! The week following the last day of school is Vacation Bible School Week! VBS meets Monday to Friday at 9:00 AM and lasts until 11:30 AM for one week. VBS is a wonderful opportunity for kids from 3 years old to 4th grade! A theme and curriculum is chosen and the Fellowship Hall is decorated in an interesting way to portray that theme. The youth are asked to help a well as adults. Everyone is welcome to join in on the festivities, member or not! Once summer is closer look for information in the newsletter and bulletins!
