Your giving is changing the world

La Crescent United Methodist Church impacts the lives of families and individuals in our community and across the globe. We support the church through our prayers, presence, gifts, service and our witness. Your financial support makes our mission to provide life-changing experiences with God by loving and accepting all, nurturing discipleship, and serving others a reality. There are a number of different ways you can financially support the ministries of the church.

  THANK YOU

ways to give

  • Cash and checks are the most common way people give to the church in the Offering Plate on Sundays or by mail. Checks can be made payable to "La Crescent UMC." If you would like your cash gifts to be reflected on your giving statement, be sure to write your name and address clearly. Unless you designate a specific fund or ministry, all gifts are directed to the General Fund, which supports our ministries.

    If mailing, please send to:

    La Crescent United Methodist Church

    520 N. Elm Street

    La Crescent, MN 55497

  • To sign up for our automated EFT program, please download and complete the ACH Form. This method of giving allows you to make your giving automatic and can be cancelled at any time.

  • Consider supporting the work LUMC does by giving online or sharing with others who'd like to get involved.  Click Online Giving button to make your gift today.

  • This is a secure electronic service through your financial institution that allows you to make a payment without having to write checks and mail them. Online bill payment usually is tied to a checking account from which funds are withdrawn electronically for payment of one-time or recurring bills. See your local bank or credit union for further information.

  • A charitable gift can be given to the church through your will or other estate plans. The gift can be used to honor God from the financial increase God has given you during your lifetime (Proverbs 3:9-10) and to benefit La Crescent UMC in wonderful ways. This type of gift can also be helpful to appropriately avoid estate taxes.
